This 3M backing pad is compatible with 3M's Hookit series of abrasive discs, which provide powerful sanding performance. The low-profile design combines a flat and rigid centre with flexibility, which lets you remove material quickly and consistently. It's been designed with an optimum weight and is balanced to keep vibration to a minimum during use. This pad is compatible with either 6-hole or 9-hole abrasive discs. It uses an aluminium oxide abrasive, which gives a continuous cutting action that helps it last longer.
